After I read that article I did put the collar down lower, but the corrections needed to be harder and were basically ignored. So to me it's a trade off. Harder correction down lower or minute correction up higher. I chose up higher with very low level corrections.
Sandy, that is exactly right! I also did similar and got the same results; infact with a simple buckle collar you can see the difference. Cesar Millan constantly tells his clients to use the collar near the top of the dogs neck, as that is the weakest part and requires the least amount of correction. It's not to cause harm in any way, but it's brain vs braun.
