Being as this is still relatively on topic, I happen to have a photo of Roscoe in this rig. He's wearing my personal muzzle with a rope tag line while in the house. I'll post it later when I get home.
I'm also going to chip in here. If you'll click on my sig. link, ie, "The Fetz Dog", you'll see a series of pictures of my dog.
The first photo shows him doing civil aggitation on a passive decoy wearing no equipment and posing no threat - just the command to "watch him" starts the behavior shown.
Glad to know my dogs' not the only one that goes bonkers on the "passoff!" command. I've been told that the dog shouldn't do this. I dont always do everything I'm told though. :-)
As promised. No critiques please. I know the chin strap is hanging there. Roscoe is just wearing the muzzle because well, I want him to. Putting on the muzzle does not always mean aggression. (photo #2)

Wearing a muzzle, because you want them to, is a good way to get the dog used to wearing it, and be comfortable with it.
And ALSO, what cute children you have!

Edit reason: my atrocious spelling
Howard,
Do you know why some people say that the passoff should not make the dog go off? I taught my dog just the opposite. It is an alert command and usually deters anyone contemplating something stupid.
Michael, I agree with you. My trainer years ago said the dog should just "watch" the man instead of going off as the word implies. I know for sure he's watching the guy when he's going off.
