Hello All,
I will give you another little update on Stark.
He was at my house two weeks ago and got to watch us do a little Schutzhund training.

Stark was very happy when I greeted him (I met him before)and was fine with people. He was a little nervous being around strangers, but, overall quite happy and enjoyed being petted. He did have a problem when he was greeted by a benign female.

He will be joining us at obedience training on Monday nights where he will work with Pat Beauchamp, our director of training at Topline GSD Club of Illinois. She has been training GSD's (and other breeds, as well) for over 34 years. Incidentally, Pat is the connection from his new owners, through me, to Jenni. Pat also deserves credit for helping Stark find his home. To make this story stranger, the reason Pat knows the new owners, Steve and Karen, is because Steve was hit by a car while out for a walk a few years ago and became a patient of Pat's at the doctor's office she works at.
So to sum this up the idiot that hit Steve is the reason that Stark is in his new home. Crazy, huh!

Thanks for the update Steve, I'm glad you got to see him again and will be seeing him often. So many of us got emotionally tied to this dog and it's so great to hear about him. Keep us updated every so often, ok? I'd love to continue to hear about him.
