he had so many fleas, when i washed them off, he was bleeding!
I put some advantix on him, and he is happily sitting on a leash by my side, being a great dog.
and, a friend is bringing an extra crate today that was going to be used for abbi, hmmmmmm......me thinks i will keep him till i can;t anymore.
Keep an eye out for fleas anyway, though, around the puppies. I'd do a really good vacuuming job every day or so for several days (to get each stage of flea and egg that he might've dropped off).
That poor guy! He must've been in itch hell.

they are vomiting white foamyness, which i know is bad, but again, i have everything here to treat these things so i will hold off on the vet for as long as i can, i am in unbelievable debt already...
but i do know how to check for hydration, they are peeing whenever they wake up, but mostly, they are sleeping. The last time they really pooped was about midday, and it looked good, it wasn't mushy or discolered or anything.
Sorry, i hope i am not being a bother. I am trying to really keep myself busy right now. And this helps.
I will check their gums when they wake up again.

I think that vomiting might stop if they get some bland food inside them -- even a little. Peeing is good. Pooping is good.

should i be looking into legal action with this vet?
Like i said, the remaining pups are well, dying really, and this morning, they assured me everyone was healthy and i quote "thriving", and no one notified my pet was dead, and no one can even find where her parvo test was done, i am going to ask for proof it was indeed parvo. I have a feeling the treatment was what did it-i think they flooded her with several kinds of meds, in a large amount all at once, and she just couldn't handle it. That whole clinic was just plain clueless, they didn't even notify my vet, who had files on all the pups, even though they had all their contact info. Abbi literally died within hours of treatment, and no one checked on her during the night, or her crash could have been prevented. She sat in that crate dead and alone till morning when the staff got there. And they had the nerve to try and charge me a separate boarding fee for having her in a separate crate from her brothers(they were being boarded together for the price of one medium sized dog).

I'm so sorry to hear about Abi.
If the Sub-Q fluids have amino acids/sugars that will help the pups if they aren't eating. If they perked up when you gave the fluids it probably does have amino acids, it will also be pale yellow colored.
If they won't eat on their own you could try giving them some of the broth from a dropper or oral syringe. Don't give very much at a time so you don't make them throw up (about 1-1 1/2 cc/5 lb every hour or two). The parvaid has an anti-nausea component, so keep giving that. If they can't keep it down you can mix it with a little water or IV solution and give it to them rectally. It will be absorbed directly into the blood stream.
AmberTech says to increase the Parvaid dose by 4 if you are giving fluids.
The antibiotics are also very important, continue giving it.
You can also leave some electrolyte solution in a bowl for them, they may prefer that to plain water. Be sure to leave plain water out as well.
I don't think the vet will be able to do anything more for them than you are doing at this point.
You said that your Chi had lost weight as well. Is he eating and drinking? How old is he?

MHO:
Get a piece of paper out and WRITE DOWN everything. Do NOT trust your memory. Do it in a time-line fashion.
Write down every call, every conversation, times, dates..... everything. Save the bills, any RXs, anything.
After the holidays you can think clearly about your next step.
Meanwhile, get the records. I personally would say that I needed everything from the charts for the new vet, and wouldn't indicate that I was gathering "evidence."
Find out from your regular vet whether any calls were made to him, and write down his answer and when he told you his answer..... in other words, quietly get every bit of info without any indication of why. (Example, "Were you unable to reach my regular vet?" might get you a lot more info than "Why didn't you call.....".)
All the note-taking and so on might also help you to stay calm, which your puppies need.
But yes, I would get that chart asap, before anything can be modified or added. Yes, I am a cynic.

um, the chi is about a year old, and sick like them. no one has worms, they tested when the diarrhea first started. But he has seriously dropped weight too. And he "has been acting/eating/pooping fine", so i am just confused. They didn't each drop a couple of pounds and get deathly ill during the 15 minute carride from there to my house, clearly, they were like this at the vet. But nothing was done. They went ahead and put abbi on fluids when she first got sick, but these pups are dehydrated, and they didn't give them fluids. I was told they had been eating, and there was no vomiting or diarrhea, so why are they just skeletons? Unless they were sick while they were there, and no one noticed/cared. I will write everything down tonight, i am also keeping a log of what i am doing for the pups.
