But what he doesn't know is I have been considering one of those neoprene jackets I have seen gun dogs in to keep snow from snowballing on his belly in really deep fresh snow. Maybe next year. I so don't want to embarass him, he already has a complex about his size and floppy ears!
I have one of those neoprene jackets and it makes a huge difference for my short haired swimmer in the spring and fall. It only came in Black or Camo, so i got the camo print.
and I promise I didn't use a friends bedazzler to add some Bling to it Because well she is a girl and girls need bling :blush
I have been considering a sweater for Loki as he gets cold and shivers at about the same temps that I do. But finding a manly sweater for a 70 lb dog with a deep chest is not easy!

I got a gun dog jacket for my pup and it is great for keeping warm and dry and the kevlar chest and tummy panel keeps him from getting scratched by twigs and sticks. It also has removable floatation aids on the sides. It is neoprene with kevlar bottom. It was also a reasonable price $34.99, found it at Bass Pro Shops while me and Brutus were doing some socializing work at the store lol.

Thank you, I had to find something, it was -19 yesterday and he needs some protection from the cold or he suffers his fur is not the thickest lol. It's a little big at the neck but fits him better with every week.
