Here's a good example Christi.
(Just kidding Jennifer, LOL.)
Just trying to be informative. I know a lot of people that think their dogs are "really happy to see them" or that their children are in danger of being violated when a dog relaxes in that manner. It's a natural, normal male behavior. There are no ways to discourage it without causing physical or mental harm that I know of. It's just part of owning a male dog.
Christi, be glad you don't have a stallion(intact male horse) as it is much more disturbing to people than when a dog relaxes.
Jennifer, I was thinking the same thing, I have horses, too. Funny.
And Steve, I have to chime in on this one too. That's the most I have laughed out loud in ages about the nagging.
Our geldings (neutered male horses) are even more guilty of "relaxing" than the stallions. I guess males are males regardless.
OK I just spit water all over my computer screen bwahahahahahahahaha. My male APBT does this as well, he is 11 and I think he has the hots for my Sister In Law, because he only does this for her LOL LOL LOL
My brother says she nags like a BIG DOG....hee hee...shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Steve you are a riot!!!!!
About 3 weeks after we put my boy into service, we were sitting in roll call while the Sgt. Gave out the midnight duty assignments. Right in mid sentence the Sgt.’s mouth falls open and he says, “Matt…. Your dog just clamped down on his junk”.
All 9 officers turn to look at my boy, lying on the floor with his mouth clamped on his “pieces”, spinning like a top. He was going round and round…. Everyone just stared in awe.
All I could do was yell, “HEY”!!! at which time he calmly stopped and looked around while his rear half kept shaking…. I was mortified…. Everyone kept asking how we taught him that trick.
