Should she just cut it in half
What would happen if she just started the raw tomorrow.
She was feeding way to mucj she said what phoenix gets in a day is what she was feeding in one meal.
I break my up when I get home from the store. So she could see how much.
Would her dog adjust pretty well or do it more slowly

I see that it is actual bones (ground), so yes, I would use 2% of the dog's weight per day for the adult and 5% for the puppy. (These are very rough estimates.)
So the eventual goal will be 1% of the adult dog's weight of the raw food per day and 3/4 cup of the kibble per day (roughly). The pup (while he is a pup) will be more like 2.5% of the pup's weight of the raw per day and a little over 1/3 cup of the kibble per day. NOTE: these are all already cut in half to adjust for the two different foods being fed.
Raw percents:
30 pounds = 480 ounces of dog weight. One percent of that (half of the uaual 2%) is a little under 5 ounces.
6 pounds = 96 ounces of dog weight. 2.5% of that (half of the usual 5%) is 2.4 ounces.
Ok thank you

Hi, Sam,
Be sure you write down stuff -- you can't imagine how fast stuff disappears from the mind when it involves percents and other boring arithmetic (or at least my mind).
Also, when we say the eventual goals -- what I mean is that I would work up gradually (say over 5 days) to the eventual raw. I would also start the first two or three days with light raw meals.
WELL MY FRIEND CALLED ME TODAY AND SHE SAID EVERYTHING WENT GREAT.
She said today they had there first raw dinner full without anything else. And they have been adjusting great.
A lot better then before they love it she said she might go straight raw with the pre made we buy.
I told her I buy 20 chubs a month at $4 a chub.
2 pounds each that feeds my 2 dogs and my cat.
So hopfully she will do it.
If I where to do half and half like she does. I would spend 75 I only spend 80 so there is not much difference.
