Betty that is the most awesome story ever! What an amazing pup
Was the door he opened a sliding door?
I got the shock of my life last year when I was out walking my new pup (Aja) and I see this big sable shepherd running around about 2 streets away. I thought "holy crap that dog looks like Taro" and after taking a better look realized it WAS Taro
Ran back home with him & pup in tow and saw that he had UNLOCKED and OPENED one of the doors (sliding patio door) at the back of the house. Then he'd jumped the fence and had tracked me down about a block away.
The only consolation was that he was doing an awesome job of tracking me... he had no track training at all, yet there he was, doing a very accurate, very speedy hard-surface track.
I could see him following exactly where I had walked with his nose to the ground... he looked so focused and serious, it was adorable
Uh, anyway... yeah, back to Carol.
Now Carol, you can't blame the un-updated-ness of your sig on me anymore. You promised me recent Ember pics over a month ago and I'm still waiting
Can't wait to see Ajay's pics. Remember to send all 'em updated pics to me so I can update your sig.
Congrats again on such a wonderful, fun-loving pup.
Shepherds are the best, you'll see

Uh Oh...Yuko you ratted me out.... Yes, it is my fault there are no new pics yet.
Anyway, I will try to do it today when Heather gets out of school.
Betty,
Played ball with Ajay last night in the kennel area as it was raining. He ignored Nikki and Ember and their barking to play ball (he had to run by them twice to get his ball).
Can't get any better than that with a 7 mos old pup. Focus is EXCELLENT!!!
He does make a REALLY LOUD clack trying to get the ball as well....hee hee
