He just showed up on the doorstep one day like he lived here. Never thought I'd end up with a GSD, though I was a fan of Rin Tin Tin and Chips, The War Dog, when I was a kid. So, it looks like the bitch next door wants nothing to do with me now. I took my older dog out earlier and she rushed the fence barking at him (owners gone). Then she caught a glimpse of me. All it took was about two seconds of an alpha stare and she dropped her alert posture and went back to the porch. It was kind of like, "oh yeah, c'mon other dog... oh, it's YOU...
