I would lean more toward the chicken backs instead of breasts due to the meat/bone ratio. The extra meat on the breasts might be a reason for the pudding poo
This too, Michel.
Breast can be a little too meaty for some dogs during the beginning of the switch.
If you would like to use them, cut of a chunk of meat from the main breast/rib bones.
You can save it to feed later, or throw it in the oven and make yourself a chicken sammich.

Edit reason: I like chicken sammiches

"i ve just added the meat a couple of days ago and i got half solid and half pudding stool. does this mean i should continue with the meat and add probiotics till stool gets firm again? "
It means back way up to what he had with perfect poops. Stay there until you have a couple of days of perfect poops.
200 grams of ground beef is much too much to add add at once for this dog.. A tenth of that to start.... 20 grams (an ounce or so). 200 grams is a lot of ground beef for starters.
Also, how much does he weigh?
Don't worry.... Michael and others will help you (and are helping you). Just remember this dog's mantra: slooooow additions in smaaaallll amounts until you see perfect poop, then a little more, etc.
ok i ll do that. Going to buy chx breast and ll add small amounts of beef bit by bit.
Karly weighs 22.5kgs = 50pounds at 5.5months. His frame apparently is big for his age but he s skinny (u can feel all the ribs still- less than before).
Btw was concerned bout sthg: i saw bones in his stool. Is it normal for them not to be digested?

The "beef bit by bit" sounds good. Just like Connie suggested.
But what I meant was to save the chicken breast for later. If you had bought some already and wanted to use them, then cut off a chunk of meat to even up the meat:bone.
Otherwise, spend your money on necks or backs. You'll get more bang for your buck that way. They are usually a lot cheaper than breast.
