Yea, we noticed we were throwing away 1-3 ziploc bags a day so we started washing them.
Not me. At least not very often.
"Hi. My name is Connie. I reuse baggies over and over for my dogs' raw food."
Unless they are truly disgusting, I stick them right back in the big "raw tray" I keep in the fridge. Then I use them again.
The "raw tray" is one of those big square no-leak trays that fit into a cooler and hold the food up over the ice, but I've read others' ideas here, like big square Tupperware 2-loaf bread holders, etc.
In that tray, in the fridge, is where I thaw dog stuff, and where leaky dog stuff lives, and also where I keep "lightly used" baggies and even foil (although I don't use much foil) for re-use.
To make the dogs' bowls, I just pull out that one tray.
The sliding tray in the bottom of my fridge holds the raw ground meat for thawing. The bone is ground and kept in lock and lock containers on the bottom shelf along with packages of liver and gizzards.

Hi, I'm Barbara. I too am an addicted bag re-userer. My family and friends don't understand, but I have found hot water and dish soap to be my new best friends...

Hmmm. I usually stick them back into the fridge tray WITHOUT washing them. They usually go several rounds before they're bad enough for me to pull them from the rotation.
Of course, they are completely segregated from all other uses via the "raw tray."
One thing the nutritionist said that made sense was to stay very clean and not get complacent in disinfecting. Add to that my wife is a disinfectant nut so once it's emptied, it's washed inside and out. Some times we have 10 bags drying on the counter. This is why we are switching to rubbermaid. Oops sorry, what I meant to say was...
"Hi, my name is Eric, and I too am a bag reuser. Since using containers I am down to one bag every few days. I soon hope to be bag sober and hope my sponsors, Glad and Rubbermaid, help me stay bag sober"!
