Katie, I did have a little moment where I felt like Dr. Doolittle.
I wish I knew where they belonged. They just popped out of the woods about a minute into our walk.
"Talk to the animals...."
Let us know if they start talking back, Michael!

My wife, Ashley, swears that our late Dalmatian, Domino, said her name once.
Her impression of it sounds like a chick imitating Scooby Doo. ("Rashree!") I nod my head and tell her I believe her.

Falcon always tells me "heck no, your @$$ doesn't look fat in those pants!".
Really. Very smart dog. I've told him the day he stops is the day he goes back on kibble.

All my dogs make observations like that. (Marker training)
PS I knew a Pug who said "I love you."
He lifted his head up like a howling wolf (as much as a Pug can look like a wolf) and he kind of sang it. People gathered around his cart in Petsmart when his owner could get him to do it.
He's dead now, but I heard him do this many times. He did say it like Scooby, only I think better.

That's how I always say that.
And I didn't even grow up with Scooby-Doo.
