You could always try NADSR... (Dutch Shep rescue) They are good people, and may have someone in the area who can pull. I know that are lots of DS's that end up in shelters down there, so I just assume they'd have contacts. Seeing as DS and Mal's are as close as they get, I bet they'd help!
Rescues are reluctant to pull for someone who isn't in the area. Since they pull the dog, the liability of ownership is on them. So if the dog should happen to bite someone or something else happens, they can potentially get sued.
I have to respect that. They have enough problems, without me adding to it.
I think what I am doing is the best I can do in this situation. My goal was to save her. While it would be nice to have her join the pack, it's not meant to be at this time. She will be able to enrich someone else's life.
The rescue person that I talked to said she will let me know how it all plays out. When she gets into a foster home, I am hoping to be able to have contact with that person as well.

The person I "bugged" left me a message last night that they were going to find out her status today and go from there. She said she had talked to you and would update you. Did you find out anything new?
Mals are sneaky little bastards with the way they crawl up into your heart without ever seeing them in person. I'm sorry it's so frustrating, I know how you feel. But I think Faith will be alright. That dog is already incredibly lucky having someone like you fighting for her.

HI Betty!!
I talked with Wendy for quite a while last night. She said that if the dog is fairly healthy and reasonably adoptable, it is likely that they will put her on the pull list. If she hasn't been pulled yet, they thought others were more urgent than she is. If they don't pull her, it's because there was something wrong.. either behaviorally or medically. Wendy will let me know either way.
The rescue that we are referring to is ABMC Malinois Rescue. They are in desperate need of foster homes, so I think I will sign up to foster.

My understanding is that they have limited resources in FL. There is a Dutchie there now that just arrived today. They probably know, but if you want to give them a heads up - http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/photo.php?fbid=221205641247180&set=a.200813439953067.53304.191859757515102&type=1&theater
