Geeze guys, you're making me jealous. When Koenig eats kibble (Orijen) he eats AT LEAST 6 cups a day to maintain his cross country runner-like figure. If we're not marker training that day, I'll up it by a cup or so. (Koenig is 80-85lbs, 27'' at the shoulder)

Ya'll's dogs barley eat anything!
Wow, crazy metabolism on that guy!
I'm lucky to have 2 "easy-keepers." My 70 lb GSD mix only eats about 2 cups of Orijen a day and my little Mal girl eats about 1 1/2 cups, plus whatever food we use for tracking and training.
That is crazy eating 6 cups you sure there isn't a tape worm helpen em eat.
I guess I'm not to far off Zoey is 83 lbs last weighed we feed Blue wilderness and I add cooked chicken, beef or steak to the kibble every meal.
So 1.5 cups kibble and 1 to 1.5 cups chicken twice a day close to 6 if figuring the added chicken.

I'm with you Kelly! On kibble, 35# Kenzi ate 3 cups/day to maintain her (scrawny) weight. On THK and raw she eats 1 c/THK, 3/4 /# raw and 1/2-3/4 c of kibble( Orijen, used as training treats)
Poor 30# Kipp is jealous. He dearly loves food but he only gets to eat about half of what Kenzi does. Otherwise he starts to put weight on.
Yeah different metabolisms how much exercise they get etc.
Mara are you feeding raw and kibble in the same day?
I thought I'd have convinced my GF to let us feed raw by now but nope.
A guy in the area has to basset hounds there hughe ready to pop. I asked him how much/often do you feed them he said "once a day" Not enough exercise and don't feed them the hole bag, once a day right.

None. Clear fecals at least every 6 months. He gets A LOT of exercise, (the only way I can keep him sane/calm enough to live in my house) and he does have a crazy fast metabolism.
