i do do bite work with my dog but she is really soft so she is
worked only i prey with very little pressure
but she does love the game and loves to bite
never thought she would actually protect me untill one mourning
leaving for work one mourning i found somebody in my truck
when i yelled at the guy to get out of my truck he jumped out
and my dog went right at him
she would have gotten the bite had she not been on leash
Just visited the guy's website. Very amateurish for someone asking $20,000 per dog. He can't even spell "Conformation", unless his dogs are Catholic and he meant to spell it that way.
20K?! I wouldn,t give him $500, especially if they were trained by him.
Did ya notice that his "trained" dogs were attacking the sleeve, instead of the hand with the weapon?
Even for a 6th grade project I don't think Id give it a passing grade- unless they aren't teaching the scientific method anymore. They cant attempt to say they have answered that question when they didn't even use a random sampling of dogs. Probably dogs they already knew wouldn't bite. Also I noticed that they didn't approach the dogs that were "untrained" the same way they approached the "trained" dogs lol. All the other things aside, Id want my kid to be a little more critical of their experiments...
Mary;
I thought the same thing, but then realized it was pbly just a dumb attempt at advertising and not a real school project. I thought it failed on ALL fronts!
note: If it IS a REAL school project, I hope the teacher doesn't know anything about Schutzhund or PPDs!
That's ok, Teresa... I thought it was the medication.
The reason the spelling bothered me on the website is that the guy is asking $6,000 for a young dog, supposedly a Conformation champion already. If I'm laying down that kind of jack, I expect some semblance of professionalism. Well, maybe you can take the dog to mass and let him receive communion.
That's another thing... that guy's PPDs look like showlines.
