Ok, there is about 2 hours and 15 minutes left to sign up for the contest. That's according to my time zone which is Eastern Standard Time. It would be great if we could get some more people interested, actually signed up and willing to do some training with their dog. Let the games begin.......

YEP!
Here on the West Coast, there's tons of time left (almost 5 hours)! Time left in the other US zones, too!!!!!
Of course, it's OK to just hand the LB gift certificate prizes off, too.
I am so excited to be in this contest. It really is motivating me to train.
I know I probably bit off more than I can chew but I don't care about winning .. just the fun of trying - plus - I get to vote which is fun in and of itself!

I'm thinking for the trick category to train hydro to do a backflip. As for the life skills category, to open the door and close behind him to go outside. He already has the open door command down, training to close it will be the challenge.
OK, going to focus on real-world stuff with my girl for skijor season, fun disc dog stuff for sport, and basic socialization and obstacle work with the pups. Stuff I can achieve.
1. Whoa on command. With line out for skijor.
Recall between legs.
2. For disc dog, I want to train the "around me" on the retrieve, with automatic outs.
Pups:
SS: Ball drive work with outs. If that goes well, basic detection work with obstacles with ball reward. Commands: sit, down, stay, up, off, spin.
Sirius: object retrieve (metal, plastic, wood). Place command. Sit, down, recall.
E: Recall games with distractions. Tug reward. Sit, down, stay, place.
