My comment was based on the dog being taught with a manually controlled e-collar.
Don't know if I'd leave a dog alone with a bark collar on.
I used one yrs ago in the early 70s. Back then they operated off of vibration and the dog became pretty much shell shocked because of the fire truck, police cars, my own motor cycle. I think even a bird farting while flying across the yard would set that thing off.
Yes they are much better made and better performing but I'm just not comfortable with leaving one on a dog not under some sort of supervision.
