But now I have a hobby that will make summers go by faster! I am awaiting back surgery, as I have severe pain from osteoarthritis, so this hobby is helping me forget the pain for a few hrs a day! I was super lucky, as my friends retired dad has been leaving giant willows in my yard for me also! Saved me numerous scouting trips!

I want COLD, snow, ice, cool summers etc. My dream is having my own dogsled team. Sorry to hear you have such pain with your back. I was in a couple of car accidents (not my fault) and I have chronic pain now.

Well, now that I think of it, that's probably what I have right now, but I'd like someplace with slightly warmer winters and less humid summers. Oh, yeah, it has to be someplace I can afford to live, too, which eliminates a lot of areas.

Wyoming, check out WYO -- NOT humid / Summers not too hot / Winters not too snowy / Not much different from Colorado Springs, but way less expensive ... SE corner of the state in the Platte River Valley enjoys the mildest climate & most reasonable real estate prices. Come JOIN Us !!!
