Here are some tips from someone who does many of the same "decoy" things wrong. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
When the decoy is targeting the shoulder, he needs to move his feet and not be stationary, as well as wait until the dog is commited to the shoulder bite before trying to absorb. His rapid arm movement early is drawing the dog to the inner forearm. Once on the bite, keep the feet moving. I have these problems on upper body dogs. just tryin to keep the dutchie forum off the dead list...
Your videos just increase the excitement I have to get my girl <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> Thanks for those!
thanks for the kind words mike and susan. it's a labor of love. Camo loves being the star and i kinda like making the videos. well, i take that back. i like how they look when i'm done. those are the first two and only videos i've made, so i muddle my way through the program. they take me a while to make/edit, but i know a lot of that is because of my lack of familiarity with the program (windows movie maker).
anyway, i'm sure you'll love your dutchie mike. is this the first non-GSD you have that will be doing protection work?
Just a wild guess (i'm on dial up so i won't bother opening that)... is that Leeuwen's monster?
brrrr
Maybe one day dog from those lines <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
