Hello everyone !! Sorry this has to be my first post But it is no Hoax !! I am in the U.K.
This is from the R.S.p.C.A. pages. (Royal Society Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
Can we PLEASE post a WARNING FIRST... Ruined my day... now all i can do is think about that poor dog
oh please don't tell me an 18 and a 19 year old male are considered minors(juveniles) in GB . the article doesn't name them, only calls them "Youths"
I didn't check this board for a while, so I missed that article when Will posted it on Tuesday, but I'm appalled (big surprise). The pup was helpless and unable to defend itself while the sickos probably watched for a bit before leaving the scene. How can you watch any dog, not just a young dog hang from a tree, terrified, just trying to survive? I can't understand how anyone would feel no remorse. They're not human. I've always said the best thing about dogs is that they're not people, and this just proves how twisted humans can get. As far as I know, a far lesser percentage of dogs are psychologically messed up than humans. Ok, bad example, but you know what I mean.
I'm glad they caught the guys who did it, but it doesn't make it ok for Spot. The puppy had his whole life ahead of him, and so did the killers. Too bad they screwed both themselves and the dog over with this one act. Animal cruelty is indeed one of the early markers of a future serial killer. I agree with everyone who said to hang them.
While I cannot condone the use of dogs for sharkbait, using cats doesn't bother me at all. That would(to me) be like getting weird about killing mice or rats.
I looked at this link and the photo. Now, not trying to be hard hearted, but the photo looks like bull to me. It's horrible for that dog to have large fish hook through it's upper lip, but I do not believe that anyone would have put a hook there to use an animal for bait. It doesn't make sense. The hook would pull through the soft tissue as soon as the fishers started trolling. Sorry, but something is wrong with that picture. I can't see where the fishers would have an advantage to be using live animals for bait as opposed to dead animals.
