Anita - Yikes, Who would have thought someone would notice the floor ? To answer the question...I vacuum every day before I leave for work (which is really down the hall)!
Jan - - And yes, he is quite the "love bucket". I like that, love bucket. Gotta remember that one!
Everytime I tried do the photobucket - . I have no idea but it was always a disaster. Why I didn't enlist my kids to help me sooner...just didn't think of it .
He is a great dog just not a working dog, and the fact is I could probably not handle a true working dog without losing my mind (see the no sleep post above).
What in the hell happened to "my dog doesnt't sleep post."
I kinda liked that post.
Those who would give up essential freedoms for the temporary feeling of safety deserve neither!!
My showline bitch with her skinny head is chewing up my wifes xmas decore. There is plenty of it to go around so I think it is OK. I love the way those working dogs look. Black face solid
no arching bridge back look. I like how I evolved from a white GSD owner to wanted to work with dogs and get titles. Have you ever seen a dog tracking in the snow in the mountains when it is freezing cold out. Thats a lot of fun for th whole family.

Angelique, my 11 year old step daughter took those pics of Gunnar sitting on the pond. He just happened to be up there resting when she just happened to have a camera - turned out to be one of my favorite pics.
So since you have working dogs maybe you'd know...how does a showline GSD from a long line of "champions"(his grandfather, for example, was like #1 in the country for something , I don't know, I don't care) and end up with such a straight back? I mention the winners part b/c don't they have to have that terrible looking roached back to be any type of a "winner" in the showline circle??
