When hunting the animal doesn't really have a way to fight back, but, when you compare their hearing, scent detecting, and vision, it would be the same as me sneaking up on you with a boom box turned up full blast wearing flashing lights and a large container of the stuff they put in propane to make it stink spraying.
Great minds think alike Red. The odds are stacked against the hunter most times. I have several friends that froze their toes off this deer season without a single shot fired.

I have total respect for hunters who eat what they kill, scratch my head a little at trophy hunters, but would have to tell those who participate in "canned hunts" what low down dirty bastids I think they are.
Absolutely right Susan, there are honest, responsible hunters out there and those that give hunting a bad name.
I participated in a fox hunt in france years ago, this was done of course on horse back riding, and I went because even though they called it a "Fox Hunt" it was deers we were hunting. And I had heard that it was a very exciting ride. And it was but ,I did not enjoy the killing part but it was quick and it didn't seem too bad.All the hounds to me were so amazing to watch, they had 50 hounds, pretty cool.
People like that are just sick. I wonder if all of them were strict vegetarians who wore no leather or silk at any time. But I'd be willing to bet they were urbanites who know nothing about nature and animal behavior.
