BahaHAHA!!! I see a broken bat handle in your hand and dog standing in the pieces and splinters requesting with her eyes and a big smile, "more please."
Cato started the "sleeping with one eye open" last night. I even stood and waited on the sidelines out of sight for it to close, thinking of Anabelle. I wonder what Jason will say if I end up in need an off switch.

Ain't that the truth Charlie.......Annabelle at 2 is starting to give me a sane moment here and there...
One eye open, I warned you about the Linda Blair head roll, didn't I? <shudder>
Take the little darling out with you to help in your spring gardening. They love pulling wheelbarrels full of dirt, puncturing the hose, and grabbing your shaker of wildflower seeds...
Oh, he's helping with the gardening alright, that and *many* things...his favorite thing seems to be helping pick up sticks.
Al, contrary to popular belief, he did not eat my camera, almost, but not quite.
I don't know whatever happened to good old 35 mil film dropped off at Walgreens and voila, photos, but with this digital stuff, at least I have something new to learn...hope this link to the album works. He's getting really long in the torso and sortof leggy right now.
I'm glad to be in the "club" but truly wish I was down with you all in your other club too...I like the sound of solidarity I get from your posts. The club we were looking into apparently dissolved, disintegrated, gone... For now, am just planning on training with other enthusiasts, some of whom were members of that club.
We just returned from an adventure at the grocery store. I had read about that portion of socialization on this board, and had never done it with my previous dogs.
WOW! We crashed some carts, he went in between the 2 isles of carts out in the parking lot and I slowly backed one out, he didn't even budge. Then, he backed out of the tunnel he was in and looked at the cart I had, then I crashed it into the line...he stood and followed it in...
We then went to the can recycle area, open to the outside. There were lots of people and loud noises, he stayed right by my side. I spotted huge carts of contractor bags filled with cans and toppled one over onto the floor, he glanced at it and then looked at me, so I kicked it, he sniffed it and I picked it up and rattled it some and he watched me do it and I threw it back on top.
I was so impressed with Cato and his courage to face this new and loud situation involving a lot of people. I swear I watched Cato mature before my eyes. The look in his eyes, something about secure.
On the way home, saw a concrete truck pulling in to do a pour, thought what a great opportunity, but didn't bother because Cato had done so well already, didn't want to push him over. I'm having a lot of fun socializing him and watching him be so incredibly fearless, and looking to me for "what next"? It's a really great feeling.
