I am talking about when people have a pet that plays around with there kids and then teach there dog PP work.
hm, Guess i should have stated that to start with.
That's pretty much what I thought you meant, which is why I brought it up. Semantics is my favorite game.
I guess it all depends on how you view them. They're not impenetrable superbeings; they're a great barrier, like I said, to get you enough time to go for a more deadly weapon , or to call for help.
While it may be rare to find one who has enough control on him to live indoors, it's not impossible, and your reasoning for not wanting it doesn't necessarily have to apply. Capiche? You just may be my new favorite debate buddy.
Trust me i know it can get done. Just not for me
And i guesssss we can be debate buddy's as long as you don't completely destroy me
Ed,
You are responsible for your actions, don't try to blame "a Club" for your dogs drives. You are the one that suppressed your dog's drive not the obedience.A dog that has good drives WILL chase a rag no matter how much OB it has, so your excuse is ridiculous. You are the one who needs to get into "drive".Your dog has show line drives and always will, stop blaming others.....
Angelique, I'm not interested in your opinion, you reply make no sense nor does it help anyone and I don't appriciate your personel attack.
No, I have not. I am an OB instructor who is looking to begin training in PP. I had 3 weeks of basic training in school-bitework, agitation, apprehensions, etc. I have watched Schutzhund and been to a few K9 trials. That is why I am here...to learn.
Maybe there are some underlying things going on I am not aware of...however, it is quite clear to me considering some of the training advice that I have been given in my area and from some of the things that I have seen that someone very well could be giving you crappy advice and that by following it you could inadvertently be screwing up your dog. This is one of the reasons that I come to this forum. However, I was quite taken aback at the response given to Ed. Harsh to say the least. Makes you almost afraid to ask a question around here for fear of being torn apart for not having as much experience as 'others'. Isn't this why we are here in the first place? To get information and learn from those who claim to be more experienced?? Sheesh!!
Yes you guys are missing a lot. Let's just say while I have a lot of respect for the club president and his abillities as a trainer, some of the club members don't have the best interest at heart. Ego's are way to large and it's soap opera like.
She insists on airing her dirty laundry here. I however will not discuss it any further.
Mojo is doing much better at the new club, and according to the USA Breed Warden his drive is just fine (now).
