I don't know about any one else, but I have never had a problem with them with my dog. He loves them. The smoked ones do have a strong odor and I worry about what ingredients they baste them with. If you can get the unsmoked ones that would be better. They are similar to a tendon and are protien, and aren't as hard on a dog as a rawhide. I believe they are digestible. I think it boils down to what the individual dog can handle. Some can handle anything, others are more sensitive. Let your dog be your guide. But like anything, use moderation,

Ps. You can get them on the internet, (search for "bully sticks"), ebay, most large pet stores, (but they are very expensive here), and some farm supply stores or feed stores

We've had a week of rain and mud and I'm just desperate for something to occupy True when I can't do any OB work with him.
He destroys toys and I've yet to find anything that will stand up for longer than a half hour.
Some of these pizzle sticks come in super-thick jumbo size. Has anyone noticed these last longer with an aggressive chewer? I'd buy a case if I knew he wouldn't go through it in 15 minutes.
Now THERE'S a job...."bull pizzle-plucker".......probably don't last too long..........I can't imagine the bull giving them up unless its over their dead body!
I will wait till I can order them from LB.....I'm NOT going looking for that kind of trouble. no how no way......
BTW you all are responsible for my needing Depends before my time! Thanks!

Those buster cubes, are they made of a soft plastic or are they a hard plastic?
I had a toy similiar to that that was made of a hard plastic (it wasn't a cube though, it was a ball) and I had to stop using it because it was actually leaving marks on my hardwood floors and on the baseboards. Tucker would fling it pretty hard when he got going and it caused quite the racket.
I tried to see on the link if it was a rubber type cube or plastic but couldn't find that info.
