Me too and three and...oh, I'm glad everything is taking its turn for your better! (In more ways than one!) Fizz sounds great! Like Jenni said, Fizz is lucky to have you for sure.
What about some booties for her back feet? Won't keep her feet off the spot, but the nails can't dig at it...and under the Tshirt, may not mess much with the drain tube..

Thanks for all the well-wishes, everyone. Fizz is home, with two drains (which is really more disgusting-looking than I had thought it would be) and a little white t-shirt. She looks like she's been in a bar fight.
Last night she was still on the opioid pain meds from the surgery and was clearly stoned, which was weird. She was sore and out of it, and it was the first time I haven't seen her tail wag. Ever. That thing is always going.
But this morning there is spring in her step and she's clearly more comfortable. I'm so thrilled...I honestly thought it was really likely that she was going to die and now we've got many more years with her--it feels like a gift.
She's been too funky to try and dig at the drains, but when she does, we'll probably try the bootie for her foot. Although that means we'll have to but the cone collar on her so she can't pull the bootie off.
Once she's recovered, I'll post some more info about her in the members section. Thanks again and have a cool yule, everybody!
