Fluid intake is ok. Not as much as I'd like. I am offering water all the time. His stool is now starting to firm up, but still loose. At least now it has some shape. Appetite is back up to normal. For dinner he had boiled chick, yogurt, sweet potato and a little broth. Now that his energy is up though I have some behavioral questions that I'll post in the appropriate area.
Thanks to all. I hope that tomorrow will be back to normal. I can't tell you how helpful you all have been.
Just an update-
Poop still not solid. It's like a soupier brownie mix. Last dose of Met is tomorrow. I've been feeding the cooked chick with no fat or skin with rice and or sweet potatoes and a little bit of plain yogurt and canned pumpkin.
Called the vet and they suggested I bring him in for IV fluids. I don't really want to bring him back into the vet but he doesn't seem to be getting over this.
Any thoughts or suggestions of what I should mention to the vet.
This first week of having this guy has been tough. It's just been gut wrenching watching him.
He is taking water, and even some water with pedialite in it on occasion. His general demeanor is improved but not that much. He has little interest in the toys except for maybe twice a day. When we go outside he wants to lay down in the shade right away or very shortly after going outside. I would say he's been on the lethargic side. As a side note-his ears were straight up and now the left one is floppy. Don't know if this is anything to do with whats going on or dehydration.
Food-
I've been adding the broth to the chicken and rice mix to help prevent the dehydration. His appetite came back and I've been feeding three times a day. A total of just under 2lbs. I've also been adding the canned pumpkin and yogurt at meal times.

At his age, the soothing boneless diet can't go on indefinitely (because of needing more calcium than just what's in the yogurt). But this has been only a week, right?
