Hell yeah! I cut a deal with the wholesale guy lebanon s so small everyone knows everyone! 3kgs of necks and backs for 0.6$!!! hahaaaaa!! Hell yeahhhh!
Is that a good price in comparison to the US? Definitel beats the royal canin! Managed to get good meat for very cheap, actually practically free - including beef RMBs! (Family business partner)
Along with the vitamins and supps i should be paying around 60-75$ tops for all natural diett!!
Felt like letting u guys know! Thats so exiting! I was so scared!
Basically 0.2$ per kg of backs. I cut them all up and bagged em! I never dealt with meat like that. It s fun! Gonna get a grinder thogh for the backs. Easier. Karly can knaw on the necks and beef rmbs
Michael: I went to the local grocery store and asked for the leg bones at the meat section and they even cut them for me. Had a decent amount of meat on them as well. Worth asking the meat cutters at your local grocery store.

Thats my point.
Cow leg bones are not RMB's.
Maybe the most die hard of chewers will get some bone broken off there, but I find that far from edible. Not a good source of calcium. ESPECIALLY for a growing puppy.
Recreational bones are another issue. Some give them, others don't.
Regardless, there is nothing RMB about beef bones. Beef muscle meat and organs are wonderful additions to an established raw diet. Beef bones, not so much.
Beef bones aren't good for much more than doggie entertainment. Depending on the dog it could be rather risky entertainment via tooth fractures.
Most bigger animals like deer, pigs, goats, lambs, etc. have some edible bone in them. Not the legs, though. The rest will depend on the dog. You'll learn what your dog can handle in this department.
For right now though, in the beginning of this switch, all you need to think about is chicken necks and backs.
Guys.. M trying to write down a program so i can move up to 2.2kgs (around 10%body weight to fill ribs).
M giving now 1200g (900g backs-300g ground beef).
I want to up by 100g every 5days (considering stool is fine).
What s the ideal ratio i should use backs-meat? when do i then add vegg?how much should i get up to?
Other than that:
Can i provide fruit from time to time?we used to give my collie Bananas every morning for some energy..
And when should i start adding eggs? And some tripe? is all of this after he digests the 2kg of solely meat? Or should i insert it bit by bit as i up the bone-meat intake?
I suppose bread, pasta, rice is out of the question? Dogs dont really digest carbs?
