Flat out?
You're not going to be able to do much of anything with these dogs.
You've established 1) that you lack the self-discipline to refrain from purchasing living animals on a whim.
2) You have far too many dogs to train at once, as a beginning trainer. Most experienced trainers wouldn't attempt that many young dogs.
3) Most clubs aren't going to allow a member to bring 4 different dogs to training. It takes up too much time.
You'd have to choose 1 or perhaps 2 dogs to work with, which will take up oh... well, one dog is around 35 hours a week at that age. So something like 70 hours a week, training two dogs, between schutzhund, basic house training, exercise, etc.
And then you've got the other two, who'll need house training, basic obedience, and a couple hours of exercise a day.
You'll need 4 crates, to separate all these dogs, 24/7 for the next several months.
Thanks for the honesty.
In reply to this.
1) it was far from on a whim, we planned on getting these dogs for years, at least 2 and waiting until i could find a home with enough property to raise these dogs. and give them the time and exercise they need. no doubt it takes a lot of time and money for this but i have plenty of both.
2)all 7 of the dogs are already housebroken and training is going very well they all know their markers and are learning the commands very easily ( even though i messed up by using the word "good" as a marker its harder to watch what i say in front of them if i say good they all expect a treat)
3) Im not planning on training all 4 of them in schutzhund..i know that would be ridiculous and i would never make any head way with any of them, i plan on working with 1 in schutzhund and after i get some experience then maybe moving from there
again i understand maybe i did not specify specifically what my intentions were or it could of been confusing, and i could always just pay somebody to do the training but this is something i really want to do myself, and in my experience there is no better way to learn something then by doing it.

well i start at about 5 am every day, and spend from 5 - 9 playing and training, then the kids get up i get things going with work and am usually back home by 2 from 3 - 5 i again play with the dogs, but not as much as in the morning or evenings being its a very hot summer down here. then again from 8 - 10. i have found that playing fetch or hide and seek not only helps the dogs but its a good way to spend time with them and the kids, they both love it.

I got four, two are couch taters but they still take time. The other two if I didn't have help from my kids I'd have to give one of them up....one of the dogs

8 hours of time to train and exercise, divided by 7 dogs...
Comes out to less than an hour per dog when you factor putting dogs up, getting dogs out, collars, leashes, etc.
Which is... a lot less than most dogs need. Even sedentary dogs need about an hour of exercise a day, THEN another 45 minutes or so of training.
Take a high drive Schutzhund dog? Yeah... I easily spend 3 hours a day on ONE.

I'm not trying to title a dog but I manage to save time by exercising them both at the same time and the training is more practice of already learned skills to keep them sharp. As soon as I can get the last kid off to Boot Camp I'm going to do the windshield time for the sport.
