DITTO. And I have fished my share of stuck bones out of my dogs' throats over the years, when they gulp & don't chew. I'm sure that I would be missing at least a few digits by now if I didn't have their trust. Actually, I never put my dogs' food down & walk away. I stay near by, just in case. You never know.
I'd be more inclined to start looking for a smarter girl friend.
You seem like you have a lot of experience. You don't think you could have spoken with the gf and managed to find a solution using your training knowledge?

yea a cc was a cane corso, and she is fine if it were me i wouldent even put a bandaid on it but you would have thought half her face got riped off by her reaction , and im sure she learnd her lesson

but didn't you know? all dogs are supposed to be big happy, sloppy, love everybody, even when you pull thier ears and tails and get in their face?
