Not everyone. I'd be doing the same things you are, especially when you can't get cooperation from the authorities even after you and your animals have been attacked and some killed.
If you do get some bear spray, please make sure to "accidentally" get this guy in face as well during the "panic" of it all, no reason his dog should suffer alone JMO!
What I meant by "handle it" was would you like to have somebody else go straight to the management, the police, or defensive weapons if they were afraid of your dog?
It will happen one day. You have a large dog from one of the scary looking breeds.
Look at all the trouble poor Jaime has endured in her complex with Ryuk. Hes the worlds best dog, she is an amazing owner. He's not even from one of the so called "aggressive" breeds, he's a classic, loveable mutt. She has people complain about him on a weekly basis.
I think you have every right to protect yourself and your dog. I just booted a dog two days ago to protect my dog. But that was an emergency, if. A situation be solved another way its always better.
It has nothing to do with being conservative or whatever.
And by "baby" mal I meant he is probably lanky and goofy and puppy-ish. Wait untill he fills out and really looks serious. You don't even really know what his temperament will turn out like. Despite all the training in the world, you could still end up having to manage some problems.
Why did you ever post this "question" anyway? It seems you have it all figured out.
"Oh no! Look! There is an open flame! Looks really hot. Bet if I touched it, it would burn. What would you guys do? Ahh, that won't work in my situation. You'd have to be here to understand."
A week later.....
"Well, I saw the flame. Knew it was hot and would burn if I touched it. But rather than extinguish it, I decided to touch it. Damn, that burned!"

Your post is addressed to the O.P., right? Not to Brad Higgs? Just clarifying.
You see how my post (this post) says it's replying to Lauren Jeffery? Your appears to replying to Brad Higgs. In that instance, I generally say "To the O.P.," or "Ross," to be clear.
