Jack is a comedian. He's 2 and a half, and just within the last months starting to approach something like poise. For a long time he had the gangly colt legs to match his awkward silliness. But he's starting to figure out that he gets more of what he wants out of life by not being a punk.
Yes, he's very smart--and a bit of a smart aleck. He likes attention, and it's so funny to watch him try to calm himself when he gets excited (I don't pet jumping dogs). He knows that he has to sit nicely to get attention, but even when sitting, his whole body wiggles with excitement until he and I both give in to his silliness.
He loves to tug. And he loves to snuggle. And he just got his first qualifying run in novice agility. He jumps like a deer (his jump height is 24, but he could easily sail over 36), and he is finally maturing enough to pay attention to me at agility class and not run zoomies around the field.
He is a very special boy, and I couldn't imagine our pack without his shenanigans.
