I have been trying to get in touch with Willie Pope for months. If anyone has a better way to contact him, please let me know! Spokane is the closest club to me...
ETA - unless someone knows of a club in Colville, or even closer to the border?
Wow, I heard that Desert Dog was desolved, that was the schutzund class I was in screamin years ago. If its still going again I am going to join. I am excited if its so. I will try to get ahold of him and see if its true that they are still around.
I appreciate the information on this, it truely made my day.

"All he wants to do is jump on her shoulders and bite her all the time..its out of control. It just started happening and I have been trying to stop this behavior. He can't seem to just play ball with her he just wants to dominate her. So I am at my wits end on how to train him correctly for this. "
This was posted after several responses about managing (not training) for this; I suspect we got off topic a tad.
Management. Management. Management.
He has no access to her -- he isn't in her vicinity -- without you on the end of his line.
No question about "trying to stop it" when it's not possible for it to happen.
JMO! I'd go back and read all the posts starting on page 2. You got some good solid feedback.
Thanks Connie, I have to manage my pup and the suggestions were all great help. I need to start from the beginning and get him to where it is clear what hes to be expected of and thats where the training part comes in. I actually have started doing this yesterday and keeping him separate from his parents and he is more quiet and just wants to learn. I have been feeding him and walking him alone and it works great. I have been doing this wrong all along. I am excited to see what I can do with this smart little pup.
