Come on Jennifer. We all want to see your pasty white butt- bruise. For medical reasons only. I swear.
For all we know you could have made up this entire scenario just to get the attention. You could have tripped over the baseball bat while shoving down copious amounts of chili chocolate or pickled eggs or something else equally as disgusting and are now just trying to cover up the entire horrific episode. We know your type.....
Oops sorry... did I say that in my outloud voice?
Still not posting the butt picture......
As a side note...neither the cops nor animal control ever showed. I will be following up with them shortly.
I have started a file on the computer logging all conversations, calls and information pertaining to the issue.
I intend to make sure it doesn't happen again, there is no excuse for a dog like that to be loose.
I have been wary of dogs in the past, and exercised caution with ones who seemed a little dodgy, but never have I dealt with one who truly was out to get me. (except an evil chihuahua, but that doesn't count)
Jennifer, I wasn't kidding when I said, supervisor, Chief and City Manager. Trust me, nothing gets the ball rolling as well as a polite, but ticked off citizen calling and letting it be known that they had a serous situation and no one from the city bothered to show up.
Take names and calmly kick a bit 'o butt.. since you aren't going to show us yours maybe we can irritate someone else's.
I am hoping the cops/ animal control actually show up. There is an elementary school across the street with kids at recess, and with a lot of kids who will be walking home in a couple of hours. I did call the front office and let them know the dog was out and was aggressive, but it's not like they can keep the kids there over a dog.
Actually, with this type of call, and school officials made aware, they could put the school in lockdown until the matter is resolved, it happens many times. In my area, our school would have followed up with police, after you called them, about a report being made about a dangerous animal on the loose.A threat of safety to school children would be priority, and certainly prompt the police to investigate.
