**shaking my head in disbelief** How in the world are these people going to handle ANYTHING with this dog? I was wondering if it was all a hoax. Or a pathological need for attention.
Ya know, I've been wondering for a long time now if Nick and Heather have been yanking our chains. If they're not, I'm wondering how in the heck they managed to survive bringing two children into the world and raising them these last few years.
I have thought, since his initial posts, that he wasn’t such a clueless wonder with this pup. Nick, I haven’t read many of your threads, but I did read the one that you told, Anne, you’d “show her’
that you’d make Gambit a nice working dog. I think your gamr was to pretend the wheel was spinning but the hamster was dead, and you’d spit out a nice working dog. You seemed well versed in other areas, if your questions are legitimate, and there are more out there like you, and they play with guns, I’d probably be supporting gun control!
actually, Nick was the one freaking out. I told him to find the video we just watched previously to cutting Gambit's nails. I told him to find the video again because I remembered hearing something about a powder to use or cornstarch if the dog's nail bled. He freaked out in the moment and I told him not to post but to FIND the video. Amazing how he doesn't really listen to me... he wanted to contact the experts. I also do remember telling him that Gambit didn't really need his nails cut. They didn't look that long at all.

A case of Munchausen syndrome by proxy gone horribly wrong???
Maybe that is it. But I'm thinking Tammy may be closer to the truth in her post. Either way it's a PITA.
Many folks are saying that they don't even want to sign on here anymore. They are sick & tired of seeing these stupid kinds of threads multiple times a day.

Sorry to say it, but that includes me. After six years on this board - during which I've learned a huge amount from people generously sharing their expertise - I've noticed that posts these days consist of too much non-dog chat and silly threads from folk who seem to be seeking attention rather than advice. It's rare to see the serious training discussion among expert handlers that I used to log on for, and many of those experts have gone elsewhere. I know all online boards change over time, but I really regret the direction this one is taking. IMO it has hit an all-time low with this thread.
