I've only learned about Malinois the last four years and the last 2 have been with 'real' dogs who had work ethic instead of just pets. What bothers me the most is people who are working in a professional setting who don't know basics or can't google something in five minutes to educate themselves. I understand shelters are busy places. I've volunteered at them and I know first hand that they don't have five minutes. However, condemning a puppy to die because he's scared is extreme. I've seen (and felt) what scared adult dogs with zero self control will do. I can't imagine he was anywhere near that scary and terrifying to see on the end of a catch pole.
