In my Key Lime Pie recipe --- you need THREE cans of the Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed milk -- roughly 2 cups lime juice--- and roughly 3 tablespoons of zest.
Made some tonite and it's not setting up so well ---- looked at the recipe. THREE cans..... !
Just mail me the Key lime soup.

Do you guys blanch the broccoli a bit?
I LOVE broccoli, but not fully raw.
That combo sounds excellent to me!

That looks TERRIFIC!
I would probably use well-drained cottage cheese for some of the ricotta, and yeah, I too would cut the butter.
What a great recipe! I'm very drool-y now.

Tammy, are you carrying the stuffed shells elsewhere (like my house), or are you hosting?

I'm not a great fan but the wife, kids and now grandkids are nuts over something they call yellow potatoes. It's simply potatoes prepared in some sort of cheese sauce and baked in the oven.
I still love the sweet potatoes baked in brown sugar or honey. Same with strips of bacon dipped both sides in brown sugar then baked.
This Thanksgiving will be at my BIL's house on Turkey day. My house for just my wife, kids and grand kids on Friday and my sister's house for my bros, sisters and their families on Saturday. Pretty much the same for Christmas.
Christmas day here at my house for the wife's family. Day after for the wife, kids and grand kids and the Saturday after at another sister's house for my bros and sisters and their immediate families.
We started doing that when mom and dad passed. Being one of seven kids it became a pia for everyone to get together because of going to spouses parents and still getting together with our own family.
My dad was one of 16 and holidays there was a revolving door. the table was busy all day long.
If I remember correctly, Bob, your T-Day dinner features about 3 dozen pies?
I know that I have a similar love for pie. Mince is probably the only one I don't care for.
I especially love the cold pudding/custardy ones, like coconut cream, Key lime, lemon meringue, banana cream, chocolate cream ....
Oh my!

You have my share of mince and I'll take your share of any other pie.
The list is so long ....
Pie is definitely my favorite dessert!

I don't blanch the broccoli but I do cut the florets to the size of a training treat. Chopping everything small is the time consuming part. With the dressing, and as it sits, that "raw" softens up. I am not a huge raisin fan, but I like it in this. It gives it a sweet & sour flare.

You bet! My SIL is a fantastic baker as is one on my Wife's side. All home made. Chocolate cream, pumpkin, Dutch apple, yadda, yadda. All with ice cream or real whipped cream....or both on one of each type pie. I never let a big meal spoil my appetite for pie.
The Saturday meals with my bros and sisters is always buffet style so going back for seconds..or more is real easy. We aren't delicate eaters. Then most of the guys crash all over the house for a nice nap. Were old ya know.
