But I'll post what works for me and maybe that will help others I use Windows Movie maker (on a 6 y/o Dell) to put my videos together. There is a free download here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/movie-maker#t1=overview but I think it's a different/newer version than the one I use. I'm still looking for a comparable free program for Mac (which I also have). If/when I find one I'll post it here. Here is one that I've found, but have no experience with http://www.iskysoft.com/article/upload-videos-to-youtube-quickly-on-mac.html My camera takes videos that need to be converted before I can use them in Windows Movie maker/upload them to youtube. To find it fast, I used that Spotlight in the upper right of the top toolbar, way up in the corner .... way way up, near the time ... looks a bit like a magnifying glass. I clicked on it and typed in iphoto. It will probably come up as "applications," possibly "top hit" if it has been used before. It doesn't matter ... click on the one of those that you see. So I would type in imovie instead. Then I opened iPhoto, and by the way dragged the icon down into the dock so now it's always there. (No big deal ... you could also always find it the same way you first found it ... with Searchlight.)
