I had to ask my husband if he knew what this meant. He said he did check the brushes, and they're fine. Thanks for the suggestion, though. He's pretty good with motors of all kinds, and he gave it a thorough going-over and couldn't find a thing wrong with it. Interestingly, I just used it yesterday, and it worked fine. Go figure.

I like the Dremel Mini-mite. It's rechargeable and cordless. It's got enough power to get through nails and I can just leave it on the table for when Tanner's flopped over on his side and being lazy. I can grab it and do a nail or two before he even thinks about shifting position or fully waking up from his nap.
