Oh, I know exactly what you are talking about .
But there is a very easy way around that: always buy a dog from whoever you are planning to train with . Then it will always be a great dog, even if crappy. Or it will be great until such time as they can sell you a "better" dog. Been there done that, LOL.
nope, not my first dog. just someone who has grown the tough skin i was talking about......so fire away. one interesting observation though....the folks who have nothing left to prove, like flinks, never have anything bad to say. hmmmm.
if there are no dogs in heaven, then when i die i want to go where they went. ---will rogers
I just got a chance to check out the breeding on the mother of your pup. Yup, I have to agree with VanCamp. Good thing you got a female. Find a good club to work her with. These dogs are not for the faint of heart. Great gifted dogs to work, but they can be tough and definitely test your skills as a handler.
I have a daughter of Citty Haus Ming. Her sire is linebred T litter Körbelbach.

I haven't seen her work, but I've heard about her and Collin. If you want to find out more about Citty, I can give you Frans' email addy, just email me (you know what my addy is )
I think that this combination is an example of the good things that are happening here in Australia with working GSD's. The breeder (Regalhaus.com.au) also did an AI with the same mother to Dolf VH Ming. Again Dolf is 2-2 mink. At the recent Bernhard Flinks seminar here, Flinks was impressed by the quality of dogs he saw, from quality bloodlines. In fact my friends Yoschey son nailed him in the hide. I think in a few years time people will start to look for dogs to buy here from around the world. The dogs bred and respected by the working people here tend to be a little more on the serious side. This is due to the fact that most of the working people here tend to come from a Security background than a sport background.
Once again I'd like to thank everybody for their feed back. My Dog has now turned 1 and so far so good. She has loads and loads of drive which is super and rest what can I say ill have to wait and see. But honestly for a 12 month old bitch she works well considering the amount of training shes had. she also does super off lead bites, they get better and better everytime. ok I better be off now
as a novice and newbie I do not appreciate having felllow novices be addressed with sarcastic and nasty comments when we are just here to learn.TRhis is why I no longer post to the dobermanworld-l as some members act like they were born training and or showing dogs and anyone else has no right to breed ow own a dog practically.I joined just a few days ago and only posted in ddr and czech and looking for a gsd message boards until now .Asit is itt took some nerve to do that as I was afraid of getting blasted by someone for god forbid not having had dogs all my life.Remarks like posted here willmake some of us leave the message bpoards or not ask anything any more and that is sad
