If the goal is a PP/Sport prospect, and you don't plan on breeding, take the dog that tests the best. Unless you plan to breed, the dog you want is going to be the best dog for your purpose.

It´s funny you guys mention this about bitches.
Because my 24 month old bitch GSD does her needs normally on command at surtain place. And during her last heat she urinate at least 4 times DURING WALKS near my house urinating near poles putting 1 leg little up at times.
The good thing about a bitch is that she does not urinate at every tree, my prior Belgium Shepherd male used to have this in an very extreeme way. Some say this can be fixed if you learn him from puppy, but I was unable to do anything about this appart castration (had to on medical advice) This is one of the reasons I took a bitch now. Also I believe a bitch can be much more connected to it´s handler. With a real dominant male there can be a continious fight for rank. With a bitch this is not so true because they are mostly not so dominant.
Our trainer did a Demo for the local PD to help raise money. They counted bites on an owner defense with 3 agitators. The dog made 60 bites in 5 mins, she would have been happy to keep going, but at 10 she is starting to slow down.

The best PP dog I ever owned before my BRT bitch was a rottie bitch I had in PNG. Not talking about the old boys dog,he prefers males and refers to my females as BITCHES in capital letters. ( Says they take after their owner) She loved working so much that we had to pen her up whenever they were working the other dogs and she still broke out of a weldmesh pen and climed a 6 ft fence to get to the action. Aggressive to other rottie bitches after being attacked by one as a pup but not to any other dog, turned to jelly if a kid patted her, loved cats but I would have, and did, trust her with my life. My female BRT is turning out as good.
Now a question, maybe should go under another heading? Domanance-Medical? Zaya is the boss dog around here, the younger male and young female submit to her, never any trouble as just a quiet growl keeps them in line when they get too boisterous. The male submits to keep the peace as when she did get a bit too pushy with him he let her know she had gone too far in a very gentlemanly way. She has just gone through a false pregnancy and from the time she would have had pups if we had mated her she has been a lot more playfull and has started humping both of the other dogs. I am thinking of a trip to the vet to see if the old hormones are out of wack or do you think it is just a dominance thing because the other two are getting older.

I understand them well....It is these other folks that need an education (Particularly VanCamp {I think he secretly wants one}). I just am trying to not be a lone voice in the wilderness.
