For the sake of my sanity, someone please lock this post! How many times can it be said that dogs, and animals big and small, are not humans and will never require just praise to do things. For the 1% who will, great and we accept that... but not everyone has a dog "who loves them back", so let's get realistic. The training methods suggested work for the other 99%.
I could say women can't play professional football and no one would say that it's false because 1% of them can. I guess here's another example: You can prove and say something that's true a million times- but there's that 1% that will never believe it.
