Sounds reasonable to me Angela, but I don't have Carols' smooth way of talking. Meaning I'd have a divorce as well as a new puppy. Don't know if I could manage both. Thanks for the offer though.
Carol, pictures, pictures, more pictures.
You and Jen both must be walking on cloud nine right now.

I will post lots of pics, once I pick her up Friday.
I will trade them for half of the meat in Yuko's signature pic... What a load....good job!!!!!
I will be keeping her name as she is going to be an accelerant prospect, so the name Ember seems fitting.
(yes Judy, you should have seen that coming....hee hee )
(I am still trying to figure out clicker work.....HAHAHAHAHAHAH )
Thanks everyone, she is going to be a great addition and I am looking forward to sharing her with the extended "family" here.
Randy,
Use the "hint" dropping technique with your wife, positive reinforcement AND PROMISE her there will be no damage to the furniture or blood drawn....hee hee....she will come around.

Come on Carol... now who wants a puppy where there will be no damage to furniture or blood drawn? That's not a DOG... haha
I mean, who WOULDN'T want a pup that's all paws and teeth?
I mean... no David.. my puppy has never bitten anyone and he's so CALM.. I have NO holes in my clothing and my mittens are not torn.... your wife won't even notice him. (Insert *click, treat* here) LOL
Just like I am sure Carol told Doug.. you won't even notice she's here!! Right?

Carol,
Despite my denials, my husband has in fact noticed the blood, bandaids and furniture damage. I have Ember's brother. In the video, he was the one Cindy plucked off Ember's puppy tug. Stock
up on Bandaids - the fun has just begun!!

Get LOTS of sleep now Carol, cause she doesn't get tired. I forgot to tell you that as the "entertainment director" for Ember, life as you know it will soon be over.
On another topic, how funny that I named her Ember without a clue to her career path. I think that means she was meant to be with you!
Looking forward to meeting you on Friday!

I saw the title of this thread and thought "natty dreadlock"?

I am glad you remembered. If she is anything like Jesea was, I will be sleeping in the spare room for a few nights....hee hee
I have been Mali-proofing my house, setting up the x-pen around the Christmas tree and filling and freezing little kongs with Ice Pup and other good stuff (and freezing some towels).
I also set up one of the indoor/outdoor kennels for her so that she can be an indoor/outdoor kinda girl if needed, although for the first few months she will be going everywhere with me or in a crate in the house.
I think her name fits her perfectly and she will be "lighting some fires" as she grows into the Mali-sniffer I am hoping for.
