I looked up the Bravo site. The closest place to me is about two hours away. Maybe when she and I are better at this I may invest in something shipped in, but I really want to be able to get what she eats at the store or at least most of it.
After I re-read all these posts, I'm starting to think more and more it is picky eating. I offered her ground beef mixed with yogurt this am and she at only a little bit of it, so things are starting to point to pickiness. Also, my ex was here with his dog and he had given her some ham that some had dropped in the floor, and, of course, my little ankle biter went straight for it and I coudn't even wrest it from her mouth. So food drive is there.
The high value treats she gets for training are almost always left over rare steak (it doesn't take many left overs to make tons of treats for a little dog) and I wonder if maybe she is just wanting the good stuff all the time.
I'm going to keep at it until we get better at it with offering her boned meat but try to mix it up more. Maybe the change in flavors will help.
I still haven't gotten the bone meal. Is that the calcium you give of is it something different, like the pills people take?

It's in powder form. It is meant to balance out the ratio. It's needed when and if I were to give him boneless meats too often in a row (venison, for example). I have a difficult time getting him to eat chicken backs or chicken wings so I gave up and just give him chicken breast. But, he gets bones in other meats, like the quail and the rabbit and elk, etc.
The name of the product is in my other post...Animal Essentials or something like that.
