One of my GSD pup's favorite outside toys is a small tire I bought at a pet supply store. What I like about it is that he chases and "herds" it when I roll it across the yard and avoids the sudden stops and starts that chasing a ball usually lead to. I figure that is better for his growing bones and joints. Plus, it is the ultimate chew toy!
We have one of those too, great for the car or house. Gurantee that if you get an airplane tire you will be standing there with you mouth open in shock!

Saying good bye must be the hardest part of breeding. I do not envy that part or the missing drawers but the puppy breath is intoxicating.
It is. We spend a lot of time with them which makes it harder. I must confess I half expected my husband to call and say that he got lost or something and missed putting Al's boy on the flight......
With time I will even miss the "wardrobe malfunctions"! Thought I was going to lose my pants this morning with the Weaselettes hanging on and pulling..........Something I *think* Al can idenify with!
Can't say it enough, Jason did an awesome job on this breeding. The genetics really worked, all I did was provide an enviroment.

HAHA....You haven't met Betty's monsters in person.....
J/K, yes I would agree, it is the hardest part.
Been more then once I have been surrounded by puppy teeth and the very real thought has entered my mind that if I go down there is no way I am going to get up unscathed and without assistance. And that's when they are 6 weeks old! Seriously!
I have found much to my dismay that they can outrun me by 6-7 weeks old.
