It's the same for pretty much everything that you DIY (do it yourself). With drumming, for example, you can teach yourself to rock out but the improper grip you might develop will lead to CTS or tendinitis in a few years...possibly bad enough to require surgery. A good teacher can easily spot the mistakes and correct them for you before they become a problem.

You already have your hands full with her, what are you going to do when you start giving her even MORE a sense of territorial authority? Just a thought. Randy

After five sessions we've progressed from a whine to a yip and from me running 15 yards away to just a few steps. I'm looking forward to hearing his "big dog" voice come out. Will says that it's rare for a pup to have a deep and menacing bark. I'm going to try to get some video in about a week, after there's something to show. This method may work for you, Jennifer.
