This is really mean and total BS. Are ...you implying I beat my dog? Because I really don't like these assumptions.
If there is no telling and no way to know what dogs think and playing with dogs frightens them and feeding them treats is an abuse and when dog screams it must be happy and when it wags the tail it must be in pain...if there is simply no telling how much we hurt our dogs by our total ignorance, regardless of what we do, all of us simply must surrender all the animals at once and liberate them.
Maria, I said nothing about you beating your dog. Please stop exaggerating. You have a proven, admitted history of correcting your dog for behaviours some times and not others. That is what I was referring to.
You obviously prefer to argue and debate and defend yourSELF than to actually help this dog. Again, this is not about you. It is about your dog. The people dedicated to this board make an assumption that people writing to this forum are here to learn, to try, to evolve in their relationships with their dogs. Take a look in the mirror. This is not you.
Please read my previous post carefully.
OK. I believe that people praise dogs for this : We played and trained a little, than she is lying down to relax (I told her to), and all of a sudden she gets up, and when I tell her to down and stay, refuses. I lightly correct her with a leash. A growl. I say "Ah-Ah!' and correct her again. A louder growl. The dog is sent to the crate right away.
What do you think, a puppy? Yes, she is an innocent puppy alright. She has been treacherous like this since we got her, and whatever the technique, she will try this sh•t with you. I know with past experience that correcting her for it the way she should be causes an attack.
I will not post no more until a specialist sees her.
