Cheri, I bet you could use your phone.
I, for one, am counting on someone to help me load my videos, if I should make any. I suck at the new technology.

Besides cell phones, I was thinking that almost everyone knows someone who would video a tiny intro (and the video intro isn't even mandatory unless your goal is to solve a problem .... ) and then the final outcome.
And yes, uploading your video to a photobucket-type share site is easy, and we could ask the best teacher to explain that.
We sure don't want lack of video tools to cut anyone out!

Something else to iron out - Are we stuck with our original plan once we call it or can we change it up mid contest if something isn't going right or it morphs into something else?
I was thinking we do have to call the behavior we're training for, but that our exact training plans could certainly be modified (as is usually the case, anyway).
Make sense? Makes sense, sounds good!

Oh, boy, this is embarrassing to admit, but my cell phone is an old, basic flip-phone type, and it does not have a camera. My husband's phone has a camera, but I always thought it just took still pictures. I'll have to check to see if it does video, too.

Do you have access to any digital camera? most of them have a video option.
My basic point and shoot digital is 9 years old and has a video option.

I was surprised as heck to accidentally make a little video of my feet one time with my digital camera. I had no idea before that that it did both.
Turns out the little icon on the slide-switch that looks like an teeny movie camera is the choice for video!

Hmm, well, we do have a digital camera that we've had for years and I never use because I can't figure the darn thing out. I may be the most technology-challenged person on this board. It has a fairly thick owner's manual. I'll have to start poring through it.

I didn't. (Obviously!) lol
Even after the surprise video of my feet walking over to take a still picture, all I did was start using one more of the three choices on the camera.
I turned it on (on mine, a button), chose the icon for pictures (on mine, a little camera), looked into the screen for the picture, and snapped.
Mine has three choices among which you have to pick one, everything else being automatic: still pics, video, and upload to the computer.
I betcha if you start a thread and give just the name and model number, someone here knows how to use it or the instructions are online.
ETA
See how much we will learn from this contest?!

^^^^^ Now, see, that's the kind of camera I need, lol. This camera, which is really my husband's (I would have bought one with three choices) has about ten or twelve choices, plus a lot of other buttons that do this, that, and the other thing.
I may indeed start another thread about the camera. Didn't mean to derail this thread. Now, back to the contest!!!

I think it HAS lots of stuff. It's an oldish Canon Powershot 600. But I don't need or use anything but the three things!
It has some kind of setting that came set at 150, it has a zoom lens that pops out all by itself, it has a light to say "re-power it," it knows when it needs to flash, and maybe more auto stuff that I know nothing about.
Maybe I miss out on lots of good stuff, but if I waited to learn about it, it would be a shiny
paperweight.
