Perfect. That's exactly what I've started using as the command, before I named it I thought to myself - what would be the LEAST confusing thing for him to understand? Touch was the word of choice after reading your comment.
Single syllable words are easiest.
Dog's don't exactly understand human words but it's more like they connect a "word" with a behavior.
If you said popcorn every time you wanted the dog to sit then it understands "popcorn" as the sit word.
Don't try and over think the words you want to use for commands. Whatever word you connect with a given behavior your training will be that command word.
