Thanks Will for the information.....very eye opening...I guess there really wouldn't be to many decoys either if they had to take direct hits.....
Does it matter on what arm the sleeve is worn ??????.....Or is that just something that is whatever the decoy feel comfortable with?????
schieldarm to defend yourself
swordarm to attack
other words from ancient european "marchal"arts
One arm is tended to be used to defend your vulnerable bodyparts by absorbing a blow (in this case the bite of the dog) and the other arm is used to inflict injury to your opponent (in battle not the dog)
Kristen:
"Why is that? Would you not want the dog to target a person's dominant arm, especially if they were holding a knife or gun?"
Please get that concept out of your head - SchH has nothing to do with the dog grabbing an arm that is holding a weapon. To even think that is just silly, ok?
My question exactly. One only finds this stuff if one is deeply involved in it. I knew Will was a little odd, but...
Well......I surf some "odd" forums each day. I always post here and on a few astrophysics forums ( now that the mission to Titan has the Cassani probe sending back data, very exciting! ) and I pick up funny links via my surfing...
